A proper dragon spends the day lounging on the hoard and drinking tea. Due to a complete inability to win the lottery I have to work for a living. This blog chronicles the life and times of being out in the working world. Some hoards are made up of gold, others recipes or gems, but mine is books. In the immortal words of Erasmus:
“When I get a little money I buy books; if there is anything left over I buy food and clothing.”
So there will be book reviews as the hoard increases, which, in turn, gives me another reason to buy books. I was once asked when I’d have enough books, when I would stop buying and possibly start selling. I still don’t understand the question.
“Books must be treated with respect, we feel that in our bones, because words have power. Bring enough words together they can bend space and time.”
― Terry Pratchett
